Our mission is to build a free online learning platform that provides high quality academic classes and learning opportunities to all students (K-12), taught by their high achieving peers. We encourage and inspire everyone to teach and share their most effective academic tips and study strategies, so we can all grow and succeed together.
Our Vision
Our vision is to inspire and motivate every kid to proactively share their knowledge and wisdom with other kids, so we can leverage everyone's strength and raise each other to new heights. Our platform serves not only as a valuable complement to school educational system, but also an ideal training ground for all the student instructors and tutors to develop articulate communication skills and essential leadership abilities.

Sage Wang
Co-Founder / President of Technology & Chief Editor
Biography
Sage Wang is a junior at Clements High School. She is the co-founder and President of Content Development of Kid Teach Kid. Sage is a 4-time Gold Key Winner for the Scholastic Art and Writing Competition, a 2-time AIME Qualifier, and a USACO Silver Division Qualifier. Outside of school, Sage also enjoys playing the cello and playing frisbee.
Rich Wang

Biography
Rich graduated from Clements high school, and a freshman at MIT. He's highly passionate about math and technology, and enjoys participating in math and coding competitions. He is a MOP Qualifier, USAJMO Winner, 5x USA(J)MO Qualifier, 2022 RSI Scholar, MATHCOUNTS National Countdown Round Quarterfinalist, USAPhO Qualifier, and an USACO Platinum Qualifier. What really drives him is his love for helping others and making a difference to kids just like him. Outside of math competitions, he enjoys juggling, playing the recorder, playing tennis, and spending time with his friends.
Stephanie Wang
President of Education
Biography
Stephanie graduated from Seven Lakes High School in Katy, Texas and a sophomore at Harvard University studying Molecular/Cellular Biology and Government. Stephanie is the author of Epidemiology Unmasked, a textbook used by thousands of students and the founder of Project Unmasked, a global campaign to promote public health literacy. Her advocacy has led to the incorporation of public health in school curricula and recognition by the US Congress, national media, and on the Times Square billboard. As an avid science researcher, Stephanie attended MIT’s Research Science Institute (RSI) where she investigated a new drug for Alzheimer’s disease that she presented at the AJAS/AAAS Convention. Additionally, she has authored or co-authored 5 publications in peer-reviewed journals and international conferences. Stephanie is a 2022 Coca-Cola Scholar, 3x Science Olympiad national champion, NCWIT Aspirations in Computing National Winner, 2x Math Prize for Girls invitee, 3x USA Biology Olympiad Semifinalist, and 4x AIME qualifier. In her free time, Stephanie enjoys taking neighborhood walks, listening to podcasts, and reading.
Isabella Quan

Biography
Isabella graduated from Westlake high school, and a sophomore at MIT. She has been involved in math contests for most of her life, and is a 8x AIME qualifier, USA(J)MO qualifier, MOP qualifier, and a 2021 RSI scholar. She has been a part of Kid Teach Kid since its beginnings in 2020, and enjoys teaching a variety of topics, such as competition math and test prep. When not competing, Isabella enjoys playing Pokemon, writing fiction, and listening to K-pop.
Andy Jiang
President of Curriculum Development
Biography
Andy graduated from Westwood High School, and a sophomore at MIT. For longer than he can remember, he has been passionate about math and coding and is currently a 5x AIME qualifier, USAJMO qualifier, 2x USAMO qualifier, USACO Platinum division participant, and the president of his school’s Mu Alpha Theta honor society. He has spent his past three summers attending Texas State University’s Honors Summer Math Camp, where he has conducted research on knot theory and secure data compression. He hopes that his time at Kid Teach Kid allows him to share his passion in math and coding with others. In his free time, Andy enjoys playing tennis, playing ultimate, watching comedy sketches, and driving around the city.
Tina Li

Biography
Tina Li is a senior at Clements High School. She is a 5 time AIME qualifier and a 3 time USAJMO qualifier. She enjoys studying mathematics in her own time, and she’s excited to teach again for Kid Teach Kid again this summer. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her friends or watching movies!
Vishal Surya

Biography
Vishal Surya is a senior from Seven Lakes High School. He qualified for the 2023 USABO National Finals and the 2022 USABO Top 50 through his passion for biology. He has competed in Science Olympiad for the past 4 years in which he is a 6x National medalist and won Anatomy and Physiology at the MIT Invitational. At Kid Teach Kid he hopes to share his love for biology with others. Besides academics, he enjoys competing with his school’s Lincoln Douglas debate team, riding his bike, playing basketball, and hanging out with his friends.
Yiming Zhu

Biography
Yiming is a junior in the 2023-2024 school year at Seven Lakes High School. She is a forensics enthusiast who has won numerous medals in Science Olympiad including placing 5th nationally in crime busters. Other than forensics, she also likes to learn about biology and chemistry. In her free time she likes to watch cooking shows and play oboe/alto saxophone..

Aryan is a senior at Clements High School. He is passionate about mathematics and the sciences, and is excited to be coaching for Kid Teach Kid this year. He is a USAJMO Winner, 3x AIME Qualifier, 2x USABO Semifinalist, and USACO Gold participant who enjoys competing with his school's Science Olympiad and Science Bowl teams. In his free time, Aryan enjoys watching movies, playing tennis with friends, and hiking outdoors.
Aidan Zhu

Aidan graduated from Dulles High School, and is a freshman at NYU. He is the Public Forum Debate captain for the Dulles Debate team and has qualified for both the Texas State Tournament and the NSDA National tournament two years in a row. In his free time, Aidan enjoys swimming and watching anime.

Arnan is a senior at Clements High School. He is an AIME Qualifier and a participant in the Gold division of USACO. He is very passionate about math and computer science and enjoys participating in competitions. In his free time, Arnan likes to play tennis and solve Rubik's cubes.
Yitian Zhu

Biography
Yitian graduated from Seven Lakes High School and is a sophomore at MIT. She is a passionate chemistry enthusiast. She is a captain of her school's Science Olympiad team and has participated in the US National Chemistry Olympiad study camp. In her free time she loves to run long-distance and sing along to the Hamilton soundtrack.

Adhithi graduated from Seven Lakes High School, who has a keen interest in helping students apply their knowledge in the real world. She has worked with many students in the past, and believes that it is important for students to understand the interconnection between different disciplines. In her free time, she enjoys painting and listening to classical music.
Shoumik Roychowdhury

Biography
Shoumik graduated from Westwood High School in Austin, Texas. He is a multiple time AIME qualifier, 4X Austin Regional Science Fair Top 3 (Computer Science, and Physics), 4X TSEF qualifier, 2X TSEF Top 3, Member of The Health Physics Society, and President of both the Westwood HS AI/ML club, and Computer Science Club. In addition Shoumik is a published author with publications and presentations at IEEE IJCNN and European Union HBP. Shoumik’s research interests include Generative AI, optimization, and signal processing. He hopes his time at Kid Teach Kid will foster other kids’ interest in AI and ML. In his free time, Shoumik enjoys playing soccer, watching movies, and tackling massive competitive eating challenges!
Ethan Liu

Ethan graduated from Westwood High School, and is a freshman at MIT. He is a 2021 MOP qualifier, and has scored perfect scores on both AMC 10 and AMC 12. He enjoys math the most, and often thinks about the intuition and motivations behind a solution. In his free time, he tends to play video games(particularly Touhou/Pokemon) and watch anime.
Rushil Shah

Rushil graduated from Dulles High School, and is a freshman at MIT. Ever since he picked up physics in 9th grade, he has enjoyed learning and participating in physics competitions. He is a USAPhO qualifier, IPhO Alternate, and is part of their Science Bowl team that made it to nationals. Additionally, he enjoys studying math and computer science in his free time, and also enjoys playing tennis and talking to friends.

Akanksha is a junior at Seven Lakes High School. She participates in Science Olympiad, where she has totaled 5 national medals, including first place in Anatomy and Physiology. In her free time, she enjoys skateboarding and baking.
Daniel Wei

Daniel graduated from Seven Lakes High School, and a sophomore at Cornell University. His focuses mainly lie in the field of computer science, where he’s an USACO Gold competitor, and a nationally ranked Science Olympiad competitor. He also works on various tech-related initiatives, including TeenHacksHTX, a high school hackathon, and Modulus, an educational platform. In his free time, Daniel plays the viola and composes music.

Rowechen Zhong graduated from Westwood High School, and a sophomore at MIT. He is a USA Physics Team qualifier and multiple-time USAPhO qualifier. He is also a MOP qualifier, an avid mathematics and computer science competitor. When he has the chance, he loves to play a game of tetris.

Dhivya is a senior at Seven Lakes High School. She has a passion for language and math and has been tutoring for many years. She enjoys helping students develop their analytical and logical thinking skills whether it be in math or english. In her free time she likes to play tennis and listen to music.
Jaime Choy

Biography
Jaime is a senior at Arcadia High School. She has always liked math and had been a part of math competitions such as Math Olympiad. She appreciates how her parents had encouraged her to start early in math. Since middle school, she has tutored her peers as part of her school's Peer Tutoring program. Jaime has tutored many students ranging from elementary to high school. As an aspiring teacher, Jaime wishes to share her knowledge to kids not only in school but from around the world. Jaime loves swimming, dancing, and playing video games in her free time.

Tanya is a sophomore at DuPont Manual High School. She participates in her school's quick recall and science olympiad teams. She enjoys hanging out with friends, playing badminton, and learning new things. She is very excited to teach a course in this year's camp!

Daniel Zhu

Daniel is a rising 9th grader at the Harker School. Like too many of his colleagues, he is also a math and programming enthusiast; he is currently in USACO Gold and has qualified for AIME twice. In addition to the competition landscape, he has also self-studied (or at least, attempted to) topics such as game dev, web dev, and AI. Aside from STEM, however, he also enjoys basketball and the occasional assemblage of a Gundam.

Aside from math, Alex has studied physics and computer science and He's also competed in Science Bowl for several years and has tutored several times. Brenda is a freshman at Troy High School in Troy, Michigan with a great interest in science and literature. She has taken part in both various math competitions and Science Olympiad. Brenda is also an avid pianist; she has performed at Carnegie Hall and recently won first place in the preliminary round of the Conero International Piano Competition. Besides competing, Brenda is a tutor on schoolhouse.world, and likes working with others. In her free time, she enjoys reading, playing the piano and violin, listening to musical soundtracks, and spending time with friends.
