Math Competitions 1
This class is primarily for those looking to increase their scores in the AMC8, AMC10, and Chapter/State MATHCOUNTS competitions. We will cover a variety of important techniques, ranging from general counting techniques to manipulations in algebra, and go over several important practice problems from real competitions. Note that this class is slightly easier than Math Competitions 2.
Tina Li is a freshman at Clements High School. She is a 3 time AIME qualifier and a USAJMO Qualifier. She enjoys studying mathematics and learning new theorems, as well as spending time with her friends in her free time.

Math Competitions 2
In this class, we will cover several important and sometimes-overlooked techniques that will greatly help improve your scores in math competitions, such as Auxillary Constructions and Special Factorizations. The difficulty of this class will range from mid AMC10 level to around mid AIME level, and about one level above that of Math Competitions 1. For those looking to increase their AMC10/AIME scores, State and National Mathcounts scores, and other short answer competitions, such as PUMaC.
Rich is a sophomore at Clements High School. He's highly passionate in math and technology, and enjoys participating in math competitions, is a two-time USAJMO qualifier. However, what really drives him is his love for helping others and making a difference to kids just like him. He enjoys playing tennis, hardcore video game grind sessions, and spending time with his friends.

Number Sense
In this class, we'll cover a large variety of different tricks and techniques to allow one to improve his or her mental math speed. This will cover a variety of strategies, such as fast multiplication (for many, many numbers), fast modular arithmetic, and calculating the sums of certain sequences quickly. Competitions like TMSCA and Mathleague have classes dedicated to this subject, but regardless of whether you are preparing for them, this course will help you become much faster at computational math.
Andy is a junior at Westwood High School who loves math as much as he loves uncooked instant noodles. He is an active participant in AMC and formerly Mathcounts. A two-time USA(J)MO qualifier, he hopes he can teach others what he's learned from math competitions. Besides doing math, Andy enjoys playing tennis, coding, and daydreaming about food.

ACT Standardized Test Prep
This class will focus on test-taking strategies and concepts for the ACT test. Each week will be focused on a particular section, featuring real test problems, taught by an ACT perfect scorer.
Isabella Quan is a junior at Westlake High School, with a passion for math. She achieved an Honorable Mention performance at Math Prize for Girls twice, has qualified for AIME six times, obtained a perfect score in the ACT, and presented a paper at an IEEE conference. In her spare time, she enjoys video games and creative writing.

Physics
An introduction to competitive physics, primarily for competitions such as the F=ma. No prior experience is necessary. On the flip side, everyone will be challenged by this class! The focus of each of the classes will be on kinematics, although we may learn a bit about other aspects as well.
I’m teaching physics, so in an effort to make myself seem credible, let me give you guys my background. I have taken AP Physics C, which is the highest course available in high school, although it only brushes the surface of this vast and incredible subject. I began learning physics less than two years ago, roughly two weeks before the F=ma (a prestigious national physics competition). Two weeks later, I qualified for USAPhO, and then proceeded to earn a Bronze medal. Two weeks of self-paced study placed me in the top 200 physics students in the US. I then skipped out of AP Physics 1 and proceeded to take AP Physics C. That wasn’t challenging enough for me, so I also got a physics textbook, and learned more by googling random things. Anyhow, I qualified for the USAPhO again this year with my score of 23 out of 25 on the F=ma, well above the required 18.

Chemistry
An introductory course covering information not mentioned in a typical science classroom, with a focus on chemical principles behind interesting phenomena, such as global warming, heat vision, and colored fire. Each class will consist of background information needed to understand a phenomenon, culminating in connecting the phenomenon itself with the background information. The class will be highly interactive and involve plenty of discussion. Having a calculator is highly recommended.
Yitian is a senior at Seven Lakes High School and a passionate chemistry enthusiast. She is a captain of her school's Science Olympiad team and has participated in the US National Chemistry Olympiad study camp. In her free time she loves to run long-distance and sing along to the Hamilton soundtrack.

In this course, we'll be covering a lot of ground very quickly, in order to provide an overview of an entire year of introductory CS in four weeks. You’ll want to move fast and do the labs in order to keep up! We’ll start with variables and basic data and booleans, then move on to iteration, arrays and 2D arrays, and finally objects and functions.
Daniel is a senior at Seven Lakes High School. His focuses mainly lie in the field of computer science, where he’s a USACO Gold competitor, and a nationally ranked Science Olympiad competitor. He also works on various tech-related initiatives, including TeenHacksHTX, a high school hackathon, and Modulus, an educational platform. In his free time, Daniel plays the viola and composes music.

Stephanie is a junior at Seven Lakes High School who is passionate about math and biology. She is a Science Olympiad national champion and 5-time national medalist in biology events, a USA Biology Olympiad Semifinalist, and a twice-published biology researcher. Public Health
COVID-19 has greatly impacted our lives in ways that we would have never imagined. In this course, we will cover the science of public health with a focus on epidemiology—specifically, how diseases like COVID-19 spread in populations. You will learn all about epidemics, diseases, biostatistics, and apply this knowledge to the COVID-19 pandemic. This course will not only teach theory, but there will be interactive workshops where you can step into the shoes of a public health professional! You’ll also learn about how to stay safe during COVID-19, how to crush the Science Olympiad Disease Detectives event, and start your own COVID-19 public health initiative.
To enroll in this course, it is highly recommended that you have a copy of the book Epidemiology Unmasked: An Introduction to Epidemiology in Public Health by Stephanie Wang. This book will serve as the backbone for the course and it will be used as the official textbook. All proceeds will be donated to help COVID-19 health workers, so you’re doing a great deed!

Adhithi is a sophomore at Seven Lakes High School with a keen interest in understanding the impact of different human societies and their interactions in the world. She has a passion for helping others appreciate how the historical trends of the past have shaped the events of today. In addition to analyzing historical events, she has a penchant for writing. Among other things, she enjoys modern calligraphy and classical music.

Jaime is a senior at Arcadia High School. She has always liked math and had been a part of math competitions such as Math Olympiad. She appreciates how her parents had encouraged her to start early in math. Since middle school, she has tutored her peers as part of her school's Peer Tutoring program. Jaime has tutored many students ranging from elementary to high school. As an aspiring teacher, Jaime wishes to share her knowledge to kids not only in school but from around the world. Jaime loves swimming, dancing, and playing video games in her free time.
