Additionally, you will conduct outreach to local officials to make a positive change in your community. As an ambassador, you will participate in an intensive 4-week program where you will dive deep into the inner workings of educational and health policy and become a grassroots activist for a noble cause.

About the teacher

Stephanie Wang

Instructor: Stephanie Wang

Stephanie is a rising senior at Seven Lakes High School in Katy, Texas and the President of Education. She is deeply passionate about leveraging science and technology to bridge the educational divide. Stephanie is a Research Science Institute (RSI) scholar, a 2x Science Olympiad national champion and 10x national medalist, 3x AIME qualifier, 2x USABO semifinalist, and has conducted internationally-recognized research on bioinformatics. During the pandemic, Stephanie wrote and published Epidemiology Unmasked to combat misinformation and spread public health literacy. Furthermore, Stephanie is a passionate advocate for public health education with a fascination for politics and public policy, working for several advocacy organizations. In her free time, Stephanie enjoys listening to podcasts and reading biographies.
