This is not a course for memorizing countries and capitals, but rather a look at the physical traits of Earth and an analysis of how they affect the human world. Each week we will examine a region of the earth, using the 5 themes of geography to help us analyze it. Prior geography knowledge will be helpful, but not required.

About the teacher

Tanya Wu

Tanya is a rising freshman at DuPont Manual High School in Louisville, Kentucky. She has competed in many geography competitions. She is a National Geographic 2x state qualifier, and has qualified for the International Geography Bee. She also competes in math and science competitions, while being an avid quizbowl player. Outside of competitions, she enjoys playing piano, cubing, and sports.
